Day 54: Ecclesiastes 10:5-71 min read

Hahaha…this passage kinda makes me laugh. At first sight, it looks like Solomon is complaining: “There is an evil I have seen under the sun…Folly is set in great dignity, while the rich sit in a lowly place. I have seen servants on horses, While princes walk on the ground like servants.”

Solomon, one of the richest men in the world, says that it’s evil for the rich to inhabit such humble places and for servants to be paraded. Pity party, eh?

Maybe, maybe not. Everyone has their place in life. God purposed for some to be rich and some to be their servants. But God sometimes uses servants more than He uses the rich.
